This gorgeous gown is based on European portraits from the 1590s. It features a velvet overgown with taffeta sleeves and underskirt. The stiffened bodice can be worn with or without a corset. The historically accurate, pearl-encrusted sleeves are removeable, and the gown and underskirt can be worn over a hoop skirt or farthingale (sold separately) for the proper period look. Dry clean only.
